Hi, just wanted to say that 2 weeks ago i had this unbelieveable obsession more so than usual to visit op shops all day. It was just all consuming. Look don't get me wrong i am not complaining about that its just now i have soo many things i just have no room to put it all and i hate it.
So the question is do i buy things because i have a habit of collecting? Do i buy things because i greedily don't want anyone else to have it? Do i buy just because it is cheap? Do i buy because i am addicted to op shops? Please share with me your thoughts and if by chance you may be feeling similar emotions.

this is a question i often ask myself. when i can't find anything for myself and see something else, i start thinking "maybe i could buy it for so and so". it becomes such a dilemma sometimes because i have to tell myself "you won't use it, leave it for somebody else". truly my head goes round and round with this self talk going on. i am off on a small trip for 5 days. wonder if that will cure me? me thinks not....
Hi there :) thank god someone else feels the same. Its hard isn't when its really exciting to buy for other people i think i enjoy that the most. But to then store it and etc etc. Well my head spins with the amount of things i have. Chrissy presents will hopefully turn this into something constructive and give me more space. Depending on what it is of course. I generally like to give some people novely gifts as just a laugh thing. So anyway check out my poem on i op therefore i am hopefully it will give you a laugh.

didn't do any opping whilst away. (was in alice springs then the rock etc). of course on the last day there - on my way out of alice to the rock - i saw st vinnies. i groaned on the inside thinking why didn't i find you before, then sat there wondering what i had missed. sad isn't it. lol. :)
OMG i so wish you did go sorry :( it would have been interesting to see what was there. But hey it sounds like you had a great holiday i mean the rock WOW. My cousin went there in August for her birthday. I hope you are rested and ready for more finds (its hard to stop i know)
