VINTAGE PLASTIC
Mattel barbies were a big part of my childhood so when i found these i was rapt! Dated 1978 have been imprinted on the middle one's back. The knees bend that's how i remember them around mid seventies growing up. HUMPHREY MADE 1976!
This gem was found at the Salvo's Footscray just sitting on the counter in impeccable condition. Believe or not it was made in 1976. Someone has taken very good care of him.

I loved miffy growing up and the marianne mirror was just a fluke finding. All cards were 50 cents each at a op shop in Glenroy.

Thanks Amelia!!
Is it just me or does everyone just love getting some comments in their little posts. I am a contributer to 'i op therefore i am' that site can be just as addictive as op shopping it self. Is it just the nice feeling of having a connection with people who share the same interest? i havn't spread my wings too far but have also noticed that there isn't many sites like this we you can contribute a post ie. be invited to contribute. I think its really generous of Amelia who is the founder of 'i op therefore i am' to let others contribute by sharing their thoughts, pics and experiences. Thanks Amelia you are a gem!!
i just don't have the bloody room for it all
Hi, just wanted to say that 2 weeks ago i had this unbelieveable obsession more so than usual to visit op shops all day. It was just all consuming. Look don't get me wrong i am not complaining about that its just now i have soo many things i just have no room to put it all and i hate it.
So the question is do i buy things because i have a habit of collecting? Do i buy things because i greedily don't want anyone else to have it? Do i buy just because it is cheap? Do i buy because i am addicted to op shops? Please share with me your thoughts and if by chance you may be feeling similar emotions.
